ARTIST STATEMENT: Prášilová’s most recent series of photographs, titled “CIRCLES,” features the circle as a central motif, symbolizing the cycle of life and delving deeply into the complexities of human interaction regarding gender and age.
Within the “CIRCLES” series, tension arises from the interplay of colors and textures, as well as from the exploration of power dynamics, strength, gender roles, and their subversion. Through meticulously composed scenarios rich in detail, viewers are encouraged to explore a multitude of interpretations.
